EnterNet, a new initiative this year to educate the underprivileged children about Technology & Social Media. Today most of our lives are driven by technology gadgets; which could be your smartphone that is with you most of your non-sleeping hours or your tablet that supports you on your productivity side or your kindle/music player which comforts you during your travels.
We as 'Amche Mango People' intend to create awareness about Technology & Social Media among the underprivileged children by teaching them in person over the weekend. The initiative is named as 'Enter-Net'. We have launched this mobile based app similar to your outlook calendar meeting wherein all those who have downloaded the application will get the TEACHING INVITE along with the dates & venue. So if the user is staying in the proximity and can spare 2-3 hours of his weekend time; he will accept the invite. On his/her confirmation; the admin will be notified of his/her presence. We intend to invest in few netbooks, tablets & Wi-Fi routers.
Crossword has agreed to promote the mobile app across their specified stores thus assisting us to get some more volunteers.
The objective of the initiative is to let them know about what’s happening in today's world though they may/may not be equipped with bit of computers during their night-schools/day-schools/weekend schools/etc. This will help them in gaining knowledge about the industry and thus assist them in getting jobs in the said industry which is expected to cross 100 million mark by end of 2016.
